Redblood shot this male yote Saturdat evening on his first set, on his first series of calling. The CZ barked and the yote went down.
Me and Redblood went this morning. The weather was not ideal. It was spitting rain.Reblood started screeching. We were watching a HUGE field. We noticed a big black coyote with two normal colored yotes. They were about 500 yards out. It was two males after one female. They seemed to be ignoring the calls, so we decided to swing around the edge of the field to get closer. When we got to where we were going to set up the two males weregoing into the woods were we were just at and the female was a couple of hundred yards behind. I got a shot at her but not the males. She was about 200-225 yards when Redblood barked to get her to stop. The 22-250 tucked the 60 grain Partition just behind the shoulder. Not a bad weekend. I just wish we had waited a little longer at the original set up. I think we could have gotten all three. I really wanted the big black one.
