I don't know where the Weather Channel gets their numbers from, but NOAA has automated stations in most county-seat towns and have weather observers who collect detailed data scattered all over the place--basically non-professionals who run weather stations at their homes.

Weather channel is wrong alot they are always off on their hi/lo temps, even wind direction

I'm not a big fan of any of the long-range daily forecasting groups, especially The Weather Channel and Accuweather. But the Accuweather seasonal (winter) forecasts have been darn accurate the last few years.

For 10-day forecasts, I just look at the same computer model data all the other forecasters look at and make my own forecasts.

If the seed had not germinated or been eaten by birds, yes.

Seed can literally live in the soil for a hundred years as long is it hasn't germinated.

Hey BSK, what did you finally put in your plots?? Same 'ol thing or are you mixing it up now?

We sowed ou plots down last Thursday, so we are in great shape after the rain we've just had!

WW, DER, Medium Red Clover and Oats......Hope the clover and rape will do ok as late as it is, but I think we are fine...

BTW, heavy rain makes me very nervous after the past 5 months !!!!!...No what I mean??
