Contrary to popular belief, I do not get all my equipment free. However, it has been some time since I had to buy anything, especially arrows or broadheads and I am sure, If I asked, I could still them free. I did not ask.

Yesterday I bought six arrows and six broadheads. With my professional discount, they came to $113 and change. It seems like only a few days ago I bought a dozen arrows and a dozen heads for less than that.

Inflation hurts and I hope I don't have to buy any more equipment for a long time. I know I am good on clothes, boots, stands and bullets so I should not need anything.

Bows are getting expensive too ! A mid price bow runs around $600 now . I keep a lot of my accessories from my other rigs to keep costs down . I have been on the staff of a couple bow companies in the past , but don't mind buying a bow or equipment that suits my needs rather than sponsorship .
Arrows and broad heads have had the largest increase in cost over the years , with manufacturers selling 1/2 dozen arrows for what it used to cost for a dozen . Same with broad heads that come in 3 packs now , instead of a half dozen for the same price .
