The whitetail classic is actually a very tough scope for the money. Wouldn't hesitate to put one on a larger magnum like a 7mm or 300 any day.

I have two aetecs manufactured about 12 or more years ago when they first came out and were phillipine produced...i believe, and they are really nice, but.........the ones from china i looked at a year ago are a piece of crap!.
Love my leupolds and Nikon Buckmasters.

I bought two of them sight unseen and gave them both away after I saw them. Now I am regretting giving them to local kids.

I've been using a Whitetail Classic 3.5-10x since 1993 with no problems at all. Killed lots of deer with it on my .243. Haven't tried it on any superduper magnums.

Same here,I have the same 3.5x10 on my 30-06 and its a very good scope,gathers light very good and holds zero good too.Its been on my 30-06 for about 7 years now and only time i had to adjust the scope was when i switched which ammo I was useing.
