I'll plant your plots in exchange for hunting rights in: Lincoln, Giles, Franklin, Sequatchie, Marion, Grundy, Hamilton county and NW GA. I am seriously considering buying a nice tractor, implements and trailer this year. Currently I use a neighbor's for my plots. It's hard to spend the money for just my plots.
I would seriously consider working on your plots in exchange for hunting rights. I am a professional businessman and a bit of a perfectionist, so you can expect quality work and results. I am only interested in doing this on quality deer properties with good deer populations and high probability of getting shots. I shoot bow only. I live in Hamilton County and would have to travel a bit to plant, scout and hunt.
I'm interested in a "relationship" with like-minded folks. I'm still thinking through whether or not this is a good idea, so please share your experiences or suggestions. Thanks

In order to buy a tractor, implements required, trailer and truck to pull it with that is some considerable dollars. For me to justify having mine it must be making enough money it's self to fund it. By doing plots for barter on hunting ground is gonna be a hard and expensive way to do it. Even offering a full service plot installation service is limited to a few months per year. I have occasionally done a few plots myself but woukd never think of purchasing equipment solely for plot work. The Going rate is abt $60 per hour unless your running a very small tractor. Just my $.02 but I think plot work is a good addition to an existing agricultural business of some sort but not strictly plots. Just another point someone with a 25hp tractor can work their plots but whn they are hiring it done they want it done as perfectly as possible. It takes a long time to turn 5ac with a one bottom plow behind a lawnmower size tractor. Also as with any crop the planting window is only a few weeks for the best results. Hope this might give you something to think abt before jumping into it.

I agree. I would save the money you would spend on equipment and buy a nice hunting tract in the county of your choice. look term it will be a much safer and enjoyable return on your investment

Have small farm in Giles county with 3-4 acres of food plots. Looking for someone to disc my ground. I can spray and plant. Would be willing to pay for service.
