thanks guys . on the up side i was glad i got one with my new to me 45 hawkens that i only paid 50 bucks for a couple of weeks ago.

why was it a mistake ?? i have choose to let young bucks pass and i over looked the horns on a small buck .for many others it wouldnt be , but i have set certain limits for my self .

Not a biggie in my book. Ive done it also. I was aggrevated with myself at the time. But It will happen many times every year.
Congrats!

I did the same thing 3 years ago in the fog, I was aggitated with myself but it happens. A good pair of binoculars will help with the problem if you make time to use them, but sometimes there is no time; you either shoot or let it walk I guess.
