I haven't seen this many birds in a long time

Before 2010 this many birds would have been a small flock. Then we had a die off I guess but it looks like the birds are bouncing back.

I've been seeing larger flocks this fall. Lots of hens and jakes. Hopefully the late start to last spring hunt actually did them some good. Looking like it at least. C'mon April!!!

If ever there was a time to trap its now when you have brood stock. Trap trap trap and your flock will explode…trust me on this. If you got no birds and trap, you still got no birds. If you got birds and trap, your numbers go through the roof.

Grandson saw flock of 19 Jake's yesterday morning on us

I saw a flock of about 40 while hunting tonight. I sure hope several of those have successful broods next spring.
