Hunting license / Tags

I'm going to start hunting my family property in Dover Tenn. next year.
I would like to know if Tenn. issues tags for deer and turkey.
I can only find the hunting/ fishing license info.
I normally hunt Southern Illinois where we have to buy, license, habitat stamp, and doe and buck tags.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

TWRA does not issue tags for attaching to the big game animals. All big game must be checked in. The check in procedures are on page 21 of the Hunting Guide which is available online at the TWRA website.

Hope you have a great year! I enjoy southern IL as well, but TN has some great deer as well, and a much longer season to enjoy hunting them.
