Hunting around McMinnville?

How is the hunting around McMinnville area? I got invited to hunt a 160 acre farm in that area. We are going opening of muzzloader.

I'm not too far from there, some fine deer have come from down that way. I'd definitely make the trip.

They are a county over from us. Good hunting from what I have heard.

I hunt in mcminnville it's decent hunting depending on what part you will be hunting. Do u happen to know what part your hunting?

I would go. Because I know for a fact there are more deer in the city of McMinnville than Blount county. No offence buddy :grin:

I have a buddy that has killed some brutes around there.

I have some, got a buddy that has many thousands of acres and has some killed some great deer there. About 5 years ago EHD wiped out ton of the herd in certain areas, but its bounced back pretty well.

Hey blount county is loaded with deer especially around Rockford! Just no one will let you hunt

In pockets, that part of the South Cumberland can be really good hunting. There are good genetics in the area.
