I don't think that there is a white hummingbird. It is likely a pigmentally challenged ruby throated hummingbird. Just a guess. Extremely cool no matter what!

Albino all the way, pink eyes and all. ID would be easier if location were known. Anything in the eastern two thirds of the country would almost certainly be a Ruby Throated. IDing the bush it is feeding on is easier, a butterfly bush.

They are real but very rare They have a low survival rate due to not being able to hide from predators.
