I've hunted opening day at lick creek for years, but never went back. Anybody hunt it after opening day? I'd like to go hunt another time or two, but it's a long drive if it ain't no good.

never been to lick creek, but most wmas get very little hunting pressure for squirrels during august-Septembers.if it has hickories, find them and you should see action
Sorry, I should have specified. Lick creek is a dove field, then later on waterfowl.

Just in case you havent seen, they changed the South Mohawk field to nontoxic shot only. Ive been down after the opener and there wasnt much pressure at all.
