I just updated the stats for my most recent 49 kills:
Bow: 16 yard average
ML: 43 yard average
Gun: 66 yard average
Overall: 47 yard average
My shortest shot was a bow kill 3 yards from the base of my tree. (I took three steps from tree to pick up my arrow). My longest was a 220 yard shot with my 270. Only 4 of the deer were over 100 yards.
Also, 67% were shot between dawn and 11 am; the rest were shot between 3 pm and dark. I've yet to shoot a deer between 11 am and 3 pm, though several were just before 11 or just after 3.
Anyone else have similar stats?
