Movement was really slow yesterday. How has today been?

Buddy on Mcminn Meigs line text me saying they was on fire this morning chasing and he was going to hunt all day. Still waiting to see if he connects! Sounds like the 2nd rut is in there.

Update! He shot at good buck. Unfortunately he's finding a bunch of hair at the shot location. Sounds like he just gave him a haircut. He's still searching. Bucks are in their feet today!

Hope he finds him. I've been at it since 2 and no movement at all . Left the house and 6 does were standing in the yard.

For the first time in probably 8 yrs I got skunked today. My cameras on other food sources only went off once and it was turkeys . I hunted over food and near cover and saw nothing, not even a squirrel . I can see much more area than I could ever shoot and even with glassing I saw zilch. I killed my biggest buck ever in this same spot on Dec 23 during that flash freeze several yrs ago and he was with other nice bucks. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed myself but no pictures from the other areas and zero for me was puzzling. AA is for quitters so I'll be back at it tomorrow .
