There isn't a fish that swims in fresh water that could get me out in these temps.

Perfect for spearfishing though.

This time of year I'm fishing for rockfish on the upper Hiawassee, the water is COLD and I'm usually waist deep in the river without waders on so the heat isn't bad at all. When I fished last Friday it was 103 degrees and I was comfortable.

Kick back in chair with a cold drink within reach, and learn from my favorite fishing shows.

Otherwise, I'd go for a few hours starting just before sunrise, or and hour or so before sunset.

I've been fishing real early from 1 1/2 hour before sun up
til about 2-3 hours after that. Fishing for bass and throwing
top water. A big worm or big creature bait.

Fished all day long both Saturday and Sunday. Sure its hot, but the beautiful thing about fishing is that water is close at hand, just jump in when you get too hot.

I swear TN folks are soft, this is normal weather for us southern folks. :)

Funny, my neighbors are Floridians who own the house next to me and are here now. They are talking about how hot it is.

We fished from 6am til 3pm Friday with not much success. Fished from Saturday 5pm til Sunday 6am and can't tell you how many fish we caught but it was a very large number and kept 23 walleye, sauger, and crappie.

I dont have acertain way to go about it but have caught them on top with Jitter Bugs & buzz baits, then switched up & gone deep & slow, some days it works....some days it dont.
