I am here to tell you. I will never ever shoot any other Bullet in my 50 cal muzzleloaders! They are devestating! They smoked that 10 pointer. DA said 300 grains or more and I now understand why. They are great bullets and I am very pleased with them.
 
Yeah, I've been shooting the 250 SST this year but I'd like to go to a 300 grain SST next year. I had always shot the 300 XTP but didn't have enough this year to start the season with them. All around they carry up much better but you pay the price in recoil. That's going to be a project between now and next season.
 
#00 for my shots which are typically in the woods. I have never shot a deer over 50 or so yards! With any gun!
