1- Does anybody have any experience shooting these reduced recoil sabot slugs through a semi auto rifled barreled shotgun?
What were your results?
2- Has anybody shot deer with this load?
How was the performance?
Thanking everyone in advance.

I have shot those out of a 20 gauge, I got them for my son when he was younger. The 20 gauge was accurate and worked great on a couple different deer for him. Hopefully the 12 gauge would be the same.

I have shot them out of my Ithaca Deerslayer rifled slug gun. They were very accurate and did the job handily on a couple of bucks and a big hog. My gun likes the Remington Accutip better but yours may not. I would think they'll have the power to cycle the action of a semi-auto.

Been hunting with 20 gauge encore for years. I use Hornady for years, reg load, don't even notice the kick.

This is what it does.

Thanks for the info.
You're welcome, I love shotgun hunting. Good luck, I have my 12 gauges but always go back to my 20 gauge. My to 12 gauge slug guns will rock you lol. The worst is always sighting them. Once you get that done then no issues. The reduced recoil on my 12 gauges are great, my pro hunter stock makes it even better.

I have a few Remington Copper Solid 1oz sabots left. Looking to ease the recoil a bit! Go ahead, call me a sissy LOL! I'm ordering some Hornady Custom Lites today and see how they perform.

Remington Accu-tips from my 20 gauge are unreal in accuracy. I shot Hornady but the accuracy was not as good. I am serious about my gun and bought a Savage slug gun. It will shoot cloverleaf patterns at 100 yards all day long and the knockdown power from the Accu-tips are stunning!

I never shot a deer with the Hornadys so I have no input on these but I just wanted to relay my experiences on what works great for me. Good luck. B

Thanks for the feedback. I shot the Remington Copper Solids for years ( no longer made) and they performed well and were accurate. Looking to reduce recoil.
