What kind of camping policy have they got at BSF? Can a person set up a tent camp close to where he wants to hunt,etc..? I've never been up there but was debating on hunting for hogs there in Feb. after big game season closed everywhere else.
PO Cedar, you can camp at the campgrounds BUT you can also get a Backcountry Camping Permit for a few bucks and stay out in the woods where the hogs are. I know the store in Allardt sells them.
That's what I was hoping. LBL is now a "Nat'l.Rec Area"(since 1999) and continues to allow backcountry camping so I was hoping BSF had the same arrangement. Thanks,ss.
We are going up there sunday for four or five days. Permits are 5.00-25.00 depending on size of your group. They are only good for fourteen continous days. Then you have to get another.
