hey guys im new to tndeer heard about it from my brother and thought it might be a good place to ask this question. i dont have hogs any where close to me and have really grown fond of hunting them(and smoking bbq)but cant seem to get hooked up on a good place to go. im interested in the big bottom section at bridgestone/firestone, does anybody have any info on where to go in that area, i want to camp and hunt during rifle season. i would love to find some private land with a hog problem but that doesnt seem to be happening lol.

i went once looking for them also, we looked all day for sign but didnt find any. and this was after "friends" told us where they had seen hogs. they are there thats for sure but be ready to walk alot

If you are interested in hunting Bridgestone, contact the number in the hunting guide for the area manager. He will help you out.

thanks guys i have talked to Mr Douglas a few times and he helped as much as possible but i really wanted to find people with experience hunting hogs there. I made a trip there yesterday just to look around a little and looks like it will be an experience lol.

I heard the hogs are every where up at skinner mountain wma anybody know about that area.

Are you talk'n about Bridge stone in Morrison ? I've never heard mention of hogs around ther, but dont hunt anywher near ther to know so who am I to say.

Ive heard people talk about coming in from the Spencer side into Big bottoms. My brother used to ride horses up there and we would talk about seeing trees rubbed to death from hogs.

well it was a long day but i saw tons of hog sign and trails that look like interstates lol but only came home with one small one. He was around 70#. he actually was shot earlier in the day(bad shot in the rear leg) but i finished him off behind the ear lol.
