He was ready to go this afternoon when I got home from work. We were going to a shooting house about a quarter mile from the truck. We walked slowly and glassed on our way in. We came up over a ridge an I spotted this buck about 125 yards away. We eased on up to about 100 yards and he got on him. But he didn't feel comfortable with the shot. We crawled up another 30 yards and he go on him. He felt comfortable with the shot so he squeezed the trigger. When he fell he was grinning from ear to ear. He was shooting 100 grain hollow points in a 243.
