Actually MAN did most of the bass fishing.
We had a third person in the boat and it just made it way too hard for all of us to bass fish.
I did manage to catch a few before the wind got so bad controlling the boat was impossible.

Man was throwing a white fluke with the rear half or third dipped in the red / crawfish bait dip.

Standing on the ramp looking towards the levee, we went right.
I got one good bite on a lizard in the first "cove" but there were two boats already there so after pitching one or two trees I fired up and went around the entire area to give them room.

Then going along the bank there are two more coves.
The next cove you come to is where he whacked 'em and where I caught all mine.
Also where the 6 pounder came from.

They were hanging pretty tight to the cover on the bank.
Under the water it looked like a hay field that needed to be cut, grass all laid over to one side.

He was dragging them out of there pretty good.
I caught a few that were actually out towards the middle of the coves chasing shad or whatever baitfish were jumping around.

The last cove has a creek that runs into it that looks GOOD, and I had one bite there but we never actually caught anything.

After that the wind got up and all we caught were a few small bream and one more shellcracker.
They were scattered as well.

Good luck man.

The wind got up bad on us and that coupled with the fact that man's friend hit a tree and snapped my trolling motor off made it kinda hard to fish after that. :(
