Always good to see the surviviors. This is s buck we called hole in the neck, as you can see why. He has a droptine that is growing into his neck. This video was taken yesterday. If there was ever a buck that needed to shed early, its this guy but he is still wearing and not the least bit worried by the side by side. He may never make the list but I think he is plenty mature.

he has to be in pain each day. Curious of it will reoccur next yr
Yea... I was wondering the same thing. Sometimes abnormal points will come back, sometimes not. I hope not in this case.
 
Yeah. Hes a very consistent buck and stays close to home. I dont want to spend a tag on him but if it comes back i may do so if he comes within bow range

November of 2022. Same area, same affected antler. Age is about right as well as we figure him 4.5. He should be 5.5 next yr
