Heading up to reelfoot

Have to get out of town for a few days, either going next weekend or memorial day weekend. Based on the reviews im thinking either blue bank resort or eagles nest resort? Anyone ever been to either one or have any other reviews of where to stay there?

Got to say, ive read a lot about snakes there and all the stumps which im not a fan of either, but looks like a good time.

The stumps and cypress knees will get ya for sure.
Just relax and take your time.

I have never stayed in either one, but from the outside and from what I hear, I think Blue Bank is a little nicer place.

You have GOT to go to Boyette's and eat the all you can eat catfish and country ham meal. ~shiver~

Trust me.

You'll be fine at either place. Thats the only two I'd even consider staying at.

I think the food at Blue Bake is as good as Boyette's and most of the time is not near as crowed as Boyette's.

Are you talking about Lakeview restaurant? We eat there in lieu of Boyettes, because of the aforementioned crowds and the fact that it is very good.

Awsome. Thanks for the recommendations. Ended up going with Blue Bank. Hope the fishing is still good when we get up there. We will be there for 3 nights so should have enough time to check out Boyettes as well as blue bank. Ive heard snakes are pretty bad up there which im not a fan of, so i may be a litte on edge at first!
