Arkansas Fish and Game put out waterfowl counts a couple days ago. Course things may have changed significant since then.

No idea about the hunting, but be sure you check out the Hog Pen BBQ restaurant just south of town. It's on 61 in front of the power plant. They've got my favorite pulled pork

Well, there just weren't many birds at all. We killed a total of 10. Conditions were fantastic, just nothing in the air and no birds to be seen driving around and scouting. But, we ate like kings and had a great time! I'd have loved to check out the BBQ place, but one of my friends had meals prepped for every day, and every one of them was a feast!

Glad you had a good time. The birds sure aren't here for sure. 2016 was the worst of my 40+ years duck hunting. This year is shaping up to be as bad maybe worse.
