looks like the brake wiring may be missing on yours but that is an easy fix if one decides to use it. A lot of folks will just use a wooden block.

It's designed to carry a single round bale in lieu of a spear on a tractor or in my case a truck. Handy when the temps get so low not much will crank OR for when the tractor doesn't have a cab and them cows still need feeding lol.Forgive my ignorance but what is this type of trailer used for.
