This is a personal record for me. Usually I've always got it unloaded by March, or before. The old CVA looked ok though. My wife's cousin killed a buck last year, with a mz that had been loaded since the year before.
I've never unloaded one.. except for a sighter shot before the next season opened.. I bought a smokeless years and and it never gets unloaded until I shoot at a deer.. it's always been dead on, seen no reason to waste a charge..
