Harvest Results 2021 vs 2020

Has anyone looked at these numbers for the State? I attempted to but had issues with the harvest reporting on the TWRA app. I know 2020 was a unique year due to covid-19 but am curious to see what the comparisons are as the 2021 season has only 10 days left.

Last I looked few days ago, comparing the same number of days, we were 20% lower than last year. Bad weather has not been a big factor either, just fewer birds killed this season when compared with the COVID kill of 2020. Of course, season limit is 3 this season compared to 4 last year.

We WAY overshot our flock last year. I won't be surprised to see it continue down next year.

Until TWRA starts to care more about the turkeys and less about the $$$$, I suspect we will continue to see it spiral down.

Dang, I knew it was down but didn't realize it was 10k birds. Of course as scn states we overdid it last year perhaps this is a good thing.

But nobody kills 4 birds except two people that hunt the same farm in middle TN. : )
