My lease in Hardin creek which is right across river is good starting last few days oct til thanksgiving. I always take off the first week of ml and it's usually good activity. But if I had to just pick a few days I'd do somewhere around nov 11

Saltillo is great area. Big deer.

It's not sure logic, but if I had to pick 2 only weeks to hunt all year it would be the last week of ml and hunt through Thanksgiving weekend. I have killed probably 90% of my mature bucks throughout those 2 weeks and also had more encounters of rutting bucks.

BTW, how is your buck crop looking on the creek this year Muddy Boots?

Lots of small ones.

Hunt in the Shiloh area, if I had to pick a week it would be the 4th -10th of November

Thank yall for the info.. saltillo has some nice deer in the evening fields an yards are flooded with deer.. GW says he sees more does around than bucks but I've seen more bucks this year than I did last year..had 1 last week pushing does around in the field
