Great pics Bruce, is this on your newly acquired farm?

Yes... The cool part is that this is part of a 1,000 acres that I have hunted for a lot of years. I have been truly blessed since its only 35 minutes from the house. We haven't hunted this end of the property that I purchased so its a new adventure. The good part about it, is that I still have my other spots to hunt.

Great looking place! I'd love to have running water to hunt by purely for the atmosphere it provides. Congratulations on getting such a spot so close to home.

Spray down good. Chiggers are thick this year. I'm spraying down good and going out for about 30 min coming straight home and showering and still getting 5-6 bites.

Got 3 when I didn't spray and none while spraying. I try to wear coveralls and the legs tucked into rubber boots. It's hot but works.

Like one of them blue and yellow hazmat suits or the Navy Blue ones the brothers used to wear in the hood? Cause those about the only ones that's not gonna burn you up right now. If it's a hazmat suit get me one. I've dreamed of playing some awesome pranks with one.

Last time I almost over heated in a Scentlok Savannah coverall. Considering that I'm a Florida Boy, the heat about whipped me.... :)

All them would've been good ones the next year.

You make a valid point but in the mountains, next year might not come.... :)

I have often heard that "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.". :tu:
