I am planning on squirrel hunting this weekend. I have read the rules on legal firearms in Tn.
Question is: Is a 22 rimfire (22lr/22wmr)pistol legal, when the hunting ground is part of a State Park? State parks don't allow handguns, as far as I know, on any of thier land. I don't want a weapon taken away because I misunderstood a rule. Any one have any experience with this? Thanks.

As long as your legally hunting with it. And you have all the appropriate licenses. And the park does not specifically state no handguns allowed for hunting on this particular WMA then you will be ok, this info can be found in the hunting and trapping guide. Just look up the park name. @ tnwildlife.org
