There's a ridge at my hunting lease that's full of flint/chert. I have found a few points and scrapers in the food plots but on the ridge I found a round creek rock on top of the ground while blood trailing a buck that I shot. I'm pretty certain that it's a hammerstone since there's no other explanation for a round rock to be up on a ridge 1/2 mile from the creek. It's roughly 3" in diameter and 1 3/4" thick. Opinions?
And, yes, it looks like a baking tater
