Had to relocate a good one

The wife was not picking salad greens. We grow a wide variety of salad greens. This guy decided those garden beds was a good place to sun and maybe catch a blue tailed skink. Ultimately if I wanted salad greens the snake had to relocate.

Looks like that might be a black racer, the old black #3 of snakes, haha.

I tell you though when you first see it it'll scare you to death. Love seeing them out and about.

I have never been able to not jerk back on that first strike. He hit my hand twice before I caught him. Was starting to shed, I thought it was a gray ratsnake at first then settled for a good one. lol
