I want to keep the deer on my land all summer long. I bought some sample packs from whitetail institution and some of the stuff says best time to plant is Feb 1st. What would yall do?

Lots of stuff says that,but if you look close it says Feb 1st for the north,not here.
 
It says feb 1,.. but it also says feb 1 - march 15. Feb 1 would be the best planting date the further south,. i would wait til late feb.

Good luck with that stuff. And as BSK said,.. there is no magic bags that will make them stay!!
 
GREAT habitat will make them stay. A few small food plots are not great habitat in and of themselves, although they can certainly be a part of great habitat.

From my experience ,. great habitat don't come from a magic bag ,. it comes from hard work with a chainsaw!! ;) :grin:

The planting dates are from feb 1st till april 15th. And it mostly jus some test plots is all were usin it for. We bought the sample pack from whitetail instution.
