According to George S. Patton-Anyway here is an old war horse I was playing around with today. It was made by H&R in 1954 and has been around the block a time or two. It has British proof marks so it stopped in England at one time or another. Where it has been and the rest of its story is unknown. I detailed stripped and cleaned it yesterday and mechanically it is in very good condition with a good bore. I shot it today 15-20 times and it functioned flawlessly with good accuracy at least at 25 yards. I will stretch it on out eventually and hope to get it into the deer woods this fall. PH
