Connected on a nice male yote this morning. Fence crawl under set baited with 27 live chickens ! :rotf:
He was crossing over from the neighbors to our chicken coop and I got him with a snare. Made my loop a little too big and he was caught around the back hips none the worse for wear when I got there this morning. .22 between the eyes put an end to ol Wiley stealing our chickens.

There are at least 1-2 more running our place as their home territory (tracks in the snow) that I hope to catch soon. Plus there are 3 more packs we can hear sound off surrounding our place so Ill probably trap a bit harder and see if I can clear some more out.
 
Awesome! Death to all chicken thieves. Hope you get the rest before they can snatch another hen.

Too bad his fur wasn't worth anything. He had rubbed all the guard hairs off between his shoulders already. His coat was kinda thin for this time of year too. Didn't look mangy just a little thinner than normal. Maybe the next one will be in better shape and worth putting up.
