I am sorry I have no pics. I think I was so pumped up that I forgot to take one. Shooting a rage and it cut what had to be a 3 inch hole. It happened so fast. I saw her and her fawn at 8 and they went behind some thick stuff and 18 minutes later she came out 15 yards away. I had a very small window to shoot her and by the grace of GOD, she stopped on her own right there. Not sure when I pulled the bow back or aiming...LOL. Guess all that practice pays off because I double lunged her and she piled up 15 yards away.
BTW, my brother and I are taking care of the butchering ourselves and are pretty pleased with how much meat we have.
She was full of milk....but I am assuming that is ok? I hope her fawn will survive. Anyone else have this happen recently?
