Good seed for area that floods

What seed do you guys plant in areas that tend hold water? I planted clover in this type of area a few year ago and it did alright.

During the spring the area floods when we get our heavy rains, last year I think the rain killed it out. It's near a creek and we had about a foot of water covering it for a few days. (Im sure you West TN guys remember how bad the flooding was) I didn't see any deer feeding in it this season. Last year it attracted a lot of does which helped a lot in the rut.

The QDMA foodplot book recomends a few things,not near mine right now,not too sure about what would work on an area thats constantly flooded though.
