I had some early season pictures of this buck, then he just seemed to disappear. Then about 10
days ago he started showing up again. I got new pictures of him on 3 different trail cams, all at night of course. Set up in the area where I was getting the pictures and caught him cruising through at about 4:30 P.M. on Saturday. I'm not an expert scorer, but I measured him at 146 2/8.
 
Awesome deer.

Late season for big mature deer is my absolute favorite time. If you don't have to the doe/buck ratio to get them moving in the rut the cold weather hunger pains are the best time no doubt.
