Went out Monday to do a little predator hunting. Day started out a little slow with nothing showing. Sitting at one stand and noticed a clump of grass that i hadnt seen before. As i started calling again the clump turns into a bobcat and it trots away. First cat ive ever called in and blew it. Made another stand and set out the Foxpro and decoy about 30 yds. Less than 2 min into the calling sequence a bobcat comes charging in at 15 yds. Got my first cat!

Kept on hunting at different areas when i finally got a yote to come in. This one was mangy as could be. Put him out of his misery.

Right before dark i was set up at my final spot with the cottontail singing when i saw something running in. Didnt take long to decide to drop this one. First one of these things ive ever called in. Hope its the last one too.

Dang what a day you had!!! Cats respond to calls very well, slow but very well. Seeing them before your busted is the hard part. Thats the ugliest yote I've seen in a while but a yote none the less. Lastly, I aint ever called in a polecat and I've done ALOT of calling. Congrats on your hunt, plain to see it was a blast!!! I'm going this weekend to target fox and coon, hopefully my hunt will be as interesting as yours

Thats a tremendous day! I have been out 4 evening since deer season was over and haven't seen a thing! What sounds are working for you right now? I have several downloaded on my FX3 but have been sticking with the rabbits, but thinking about trying some others.

I use the Randy Anderson cottontail distress on these.
