I would love to get up to the level of some of the Bering Sea gold guys, I'd be happy pulling an ounce or two a day, some of those guys are pulling over 50 ounces off the bottom that are not on TV. Crow, I ordered a concentrator to get the fines worked down, I have a hard time when they get down to the black sand and fine mica sand mixed in, I worry about losing some. The concentrator is supposed to gyrate them seperate for me, I am a green horn when it comes to panning for the most part. Here at home though, I am building a foundry to refine gold, my crucibles I bought can handle 50 ounces per melt. Thats how I intend on refining what I had in that pan, by theory, the lighter non-gold will float to the top as slag when the gold is poured in the mold. There was a guy up by where our claim is that came out with a nugget with a hair over 2 ounces just feet from our border.
