They will kill chickens too. had 14 hens and a rooster and the dang coons broke through the chicken wire and literally killed all of them.

UPDATE, the coon MESSED up my spartan TRAIL CAM BAD! I had it too close to the set, he ruined the antenna and now camera will not work!!

A coon likes the same things cats do. Shiny things, feathers , etc. All I make are simple dirt hole sets and I catch plenty of cats , coyotes, and foxes. Few coons and possums too. Any turkey/deer or nest Predator is a good catch to me

Just dig you a 2-3" diameter hole as deep as you can 12-18" at a 45' angle. Make the center of your trap pan hand length from your hole. Bait , lure, and a clod of dove feathers in the hole. Finish off with red fox piss. I don't know how to post pics and I've never took a picture of one of my sets
