got through all 100 pieces of brass and new action startin to run really smooth,,,after running down some powder I finally got the 130 Bergers goin like I need with no wild fliers,,chronie is settling down and reading steady at 3,000 fps,,looks like 1/2 moa off the ground should be no problem in better conditions,,

first 5 rounds on paper at 500 yards,,prone off Atlas bipod and rear bag,,eatin dust,,

I shot a few 140`s and some 123`s and I seemed to loose a shot hee and there,,after 40 rounds of the 130 Bergers I havent seen a bullet go anywhere that was not condition related,,my 8 twist seems to be pretty steady at 3000 with 4350 and not seeing any bad pressure at 42 grs with the BR4 primers,,loading .002 off,,I started to run a ladder .005 jammed and chronie was acting up and had to unload and pulled the bullet out of case and dumped powder in action so I tried to go .002 off,,I may try it jammed again and if I need to unload just shoot it in the berm,,but reall the vertical on those 5 at 500 are about 1.75,,horizantal is about 3 inches and the wind was light but switching,, and I held dead center ever shot as with the dust bowl I couldnt see the holes,,gonna order 500 more and take this load to 750 then 1000 and if it holds together I am gonna switch scopes to the 3.5-21 hdmr mil/mil G2,,I really meant for this to replace the 338 LM tactical rifle and out to 1000 it should hold its own if you can half assed read wind,,

after I shot the head shots I had 3 rounds left and a storm was a brewing with light gusting winds to the right,,I fired the 3 rounds with a center X hold and got 1 minute of drift,,figures to 4mph full value wind,

 
2.870,,had it throated for the 140 Hybirds and the 130`s will reach the lands but there isnt a lot of bullet in the case,,leaves lots of room for powder though,,

next barrel will probablly be 8.5 twist with a slightly shorter throat for the 130`s,,
 
Mine is around 2.77" this is why you get the speed out of yours. I'm about 200 fps slower out of a 8 twist 26". Accurate though.
