Bear are scattered all thru the US and Cougar.
Makes a great trail pistol.
I'm well aware of that except where I am, no cougars and the bears are all black and few and far between. That is actually what I bought it for. Bear defense on my dream hunt for moose which is not looking likely to happen.
I know where you can find one Red Team. Looks like you live in the perfect state for a 10mm

I have a G20 since Glock introduced the 10mm.
My current one is a Gen 4 and has been upgraded to handle hot handloads of Hardcast bullets. Here is a picture of a Serviceman in self defense kill while getting his moose out.
One good thing about G20 you can get conversion for 40 cal and 45 acp. The G20 in 10mm Auto and upgraded to handle Full power loads I consider the best trail pistol made.
