Hopefully but have to think that Oregon and Michigan ST. May get the nod over it.
Maybe not though.

The Vols are the hottest talk of college football this off-season,I believe game day will be in Knoxville, especially with over a 100,000 fans at Neyland .It would be hard to pass up for ESPN

This is bound to be a funny thread. Lol. Vol fans crack me up. I know the Vols are going to shock the world, but allow me to let you guys in on a secret. There's a big wide world out there full of many interesting, some scary, people, things and college football teams. Oregon and Sparty will both be single digit ranked. OU and UT will, if ranked, both be double digit ranked and both possibly in the 20s. ESPN will be in East Lansing.

Yep... But I also realize that Game Day has better things to do besides covering subpar teams... :tu:

Beating ONE SEC team every hundred years does not give license for this attitude!! :poke: :stir:

I thought Disney World was more about the future that never really happens in reality????? :rotf: :poke:

Here's a neutral example:

We will see,but there will be national interest for vols vs Sooners, very little national interest in Michigan St

Are you crazy,Vols vs Sooners would draw a lot more viewers and national interest than watching a big ten team.Who would you watch, vols Sooners or ducks sparty?

Gameday will probably be in knoxville that weekend if those are the two choices. Mich st vs oregon, or a 6-6 vols that everyone has picked to "shock the world"!
How bad do you vol fans think the Sooners are gonna get beat?

Here we go again. :tu:

I hope they do well this year, but I hate to see them play jr colleges 2 out of the first 3 games of the season. seems they do that every year and inflate the hopes of their fan base and then they are suicide watch after the first 3 or 4 games against equal sized schools.

Each year, the Vols always play one of the toughest schedules in the nation. :tu:

That theory has been debunked..

Gator, thanks for posting. Unfortunately, it is sure to be conveniently ignored and denied as it doesn't fit the popular narrative.

Yep... Had to hear the last several years how UT played a tougher schedule than UF. When you look back, UF has had a tougher schedule 10 out of the last 11 years.

Some on here wanted to point out the rankings before the season started. Those are make believe because no one knows how good a team will be. True rankings are when all the games have been played. :tu:
