Anyone frost seed crimson clover? When is too soo or too late to seed? Seems like now would be good with the warm days and cold nights.

I`ve never tried it, but a friend assured me the prettiest clover patch he ever did was over frosted frozen ground. I planted in October, but now with plants up, see a few spots I missed and have been thinking the same thing, to spot broadcast for a nice stand this spring.

Expect and prepare for a little more of a battle with weeds vs. fall planted clover. Can clip broadleaves but will have to spray grasses to knock them out. At least this has been my experience.

Just spray with Raptor or clethodem and 2-4,DB with crop oil,

Do you mix the clethodem and 2-4,DB together withe the crop oil, or each separately w the crop oil? Thanks for the input.
