Not that I really care about UCLA but just reading some information, this HC selection leaves me shaking my head. UCLA football is going a doormat for sometime.

How did Foster get the HC job at UCLA to start with? He had a very good career as a RB at UCLA, 6YRS in NFL and time as an assistant coach at TEX TECH and UCLA. Then boom head coach at UCLA historically vaulted NCAA LARGE college program.

Foster was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2002 NFL draft. He played five seasons for the Panthers and one for the San Francisco 49ers. He became a coach, serving as an assistant coach for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and UCLA. The Bruins promoted him to head coach in 2024, but he was fired shortly after the start of his second season in 2025.

I agree. I think there needs to be some changes to the transfer portal.
