For all who reloads ammo

i need to find out if i need a factory crimp die for reloading 30-06 if so i'm almost got everything i need to start small but i need to know if i need a crimper or what.

i had some guys at sporting good stores told me that i didn't need it and some told me i needed it. could someone share some light please i don't want to blow my rem 30-06 up.

Shouldn't need one unless you are shooting an automatic.

oh i c all my rifles are bolt action. thanks for the info it was about 5 different guys given me different answers on if i need one or not.

No crimp needed in a bolt action.

I crimp autos and lever action. Bolt action? No need to crimp.
