Guess I'm calling it the right thing. Wanting a screen box with hinged lid to keep by my dock and use it til I get enough to filet or throw fish in at night to clean next morning Anyone have plans on building one or a good one to buy

I built one for my pond. I used 1" pvc to build a rectangle frame roughly 3x5' and 3' deep. I then used the plastic small squared fence from TSC to wrap it attaching with zip ties. Then pool noodles around the top to keep it floating. I use mine more for introducing fish to pond / feed training or treating fish in early spring that might have a bacterial infection / red sores when caught. It would probably need a top on it if you have turtles in pond as they will crawl over top for an easy snack. It's also great at holding the biggest catches of the day for a nice picture before releasing.

Also possibly the best use of it is when not in use all of the bluegill fry and fathead minnows will use it to keep away from bigger fish. It makes a nearly unlimited supply of fresh bait with a dip net.

This is exactly what I use for my fathead minnows. I order about 3,000+ a year and toss a whole bunch in the fish basket and let the rest go into the pond.
