I actually tagged out this morning. I've always had weird things happen and our places typically die off the second half of the season plus my work schedule wasn't great for hunting a lot. Well this year my work schedule changed and I was able to hunt more. I decided to wait this morning and went in about 9 at our place in Fayette County. He was out in our field with a lone hen but not paying her much attention, just feeding along with her. I worked down the side of the field till I was even with them just in time to watch a thunderstorm roll in. So after I was soaked and still standing just in side the woods the hen decided to head off across the field leaving the tom alone. I decided to call at him a little to which he gobbled and started easing my way. It took awhile for him to close the distance and at 45 yards he turned and started walking parallel to the woods so I took the shot. 20.8 pounds, 9.75" beard, 1 1/8" spurs
