I got st up in my ground blind about 430 this morning just inside some bowater pines where they meet some hardwoods that are above a field. There is a serious trail leading into the pines that goes down over a flat. 745 I hear somehing in the edge of the hardwoods drop into the pines, I looked over and she had just dropped onto the trail that I thought they would be using. Got the gun up and ready and she stopped and looked in my direction but didnt see me, took two more steps and stopped broadside at about ten yards. Boom!!! I couldnt see her trough all the smoke but heard her crash. Double lung pass through she made it about 50 yards downhill. Winchester Apex 100 grains triple 7 pellets 250 grain bonded shockwaves. Exit hole about half dollar sized very nice performance. Dressed weight 68 pounds. Very good morning in the woods.
