Sunday MZ Open... A fork horn came in the field below me. After watching him a while I decided to grunt and see what he would do so I gave him 3 soft tending grunts, he turned and came up the hill towards me. Once he got closer I decided to take a photo so I slowly grabbed my camera and snapped a photo. That's when I realized a completely different deer had come out of the woods. I put the camera down and picked up the MZ, Picked my spot with the cross hairs at 50 yards, pulled back the hammer, squeezed the trigger, and "Click".......... No primer in the nipple..... 8 point slowly turns and walks back in the woods..... :bash: AAAAGGGGHHHHHH...... By the way bucks are in a chase phase in Moore County......
